Live Stage – Pip Hare

Pip Hare was the 8th woman in history to complete the Vendee Globe, has been a professional sailor since leaving school at 18 with a career spanning close to 30 years. Not only did Pip officially open BoatLife Live 2022 she spent time at the show joining Mark Covell on the Live Stage sharing her experiences of sailing around the world.

Live Stage – Katie McCabe

The award-winning yachtswomen Katie McCabe joined us at BoatLife Live 2022 along with her record-setting yacht Falanda. In 2021 Katie embarked on a 1600 nautical miles odyssey to become the youngest person to sail solo around Britain and managed just that. To break the record, she sailed anti-clockwise around Britain all the way back to where she started in Topsham, Devon.

Live Stage – Wayne Peters

Wayne founded The North Devon Marine project in 2019 after a profound experience with the remarkable Emily Penn, where he helped prepare her research yacht for eXXpedition, the world circumnavigation to study ocean plastic. Wayne joined us at BoatLife Live 2022 to tell us about his 15 years of clean energy adventures around the globe.
